I called Billy too see if t could come to his place to take some pictures while he was working at his forge.when i got there , i kind of understood when Loretta Lynn was singing about a place called "butcher holler".after the roads became evermore narrow ,the driveway to his House and shop became the most challenging part of my trip.i probably not over estimate if that driveway was not it least 15 to 20 degree up hill, and during a rain also serves as a creek. i still need to check if dos rock's i had to Climb over did not knock Any holes in to my oil pane.at the end of the "driveway"i was greeted by to billy goats.related sometime by attitude only.
i have seen billy Phelps work over the years and all ways admirer his craftsman ship.
